Named for Kapunda tomorrow

Heard he was taking "a few weeks off from SANFL" to decide what he wants to do.

Named in the ressies for us for this weekends game. I hope he hangs around and gets a chance sooner rather than later as he has persevered for a fair while now overcoming various injuries.

I’ve always thought he has the potential to be a handy asset up forward given his all round game and what I suspect is a good footy brain..
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

Young Tasmanian Oliver Davis is joining the Crows this week. Has been offered a potential spot in the MSD and will relocate over here to trial with the Ravens

There is a story in The Advertiser today regarding potential players who are being considered by clubs at the mid-season draft.

Apparently Riley Knight and Tyson Stengle are drawing attention of recruiters.

Would be tough on the club to lose both given their contributions to the team so far this season.

And the money spent from the salary cap to secure them!
Don't AFL sides have reserves??

And Hayes. Hayes would be handy to a few sides.

42 players from the SANFL have nominated for the MSD. Will be interesting to see how many get picked up. I can see Norwood losing 2 definitely and maybe 3

Positive news for the Dogs is I don't think we will lose any.

Would have hated this to be around when during our dominant decade, reckon we would have lost a fair few then.

I reckon the Eagles will lose Knight. Whilst Stengle is good enough to be on an AFL list I am not convinced that a Club will take a punt and would prefer to have him demonstrate over a full season that he has the desire to play AFL.

Hayes is too short to play ruck in the AFL and hasn't really been used by the eagles as a key forward so would be difficult to justify drafting him to play that position.

I can't see anyone beyond that who we will lose from our club.

I wouldn't have thought so. He gets a lot of the ball at SANFL level but would probably be viewed as too slow and short to be an effective AFL midfielder. Even though he'd be early-mid 20s the AFL system would probably view him as too old as well.

Not sure the reduced wages leaving the Dogs back then would have seen many depart :-" ;)

A North fringe player suited up in Div 3 ammos on the weekend, unsure if he has left North or it was a special permission exercise.
