R1 Centrals v North Friday 2.10 PM
Centrals start the season at home with many new players, a new coach and most importantly a new jumper sponsor,
Centrals look a very different side to last year. Perhaps the new coach is watching the game instead of a computer.
North have had a very quiet time and have recruited the least opting to go with their squad from last year plus the former juniors who are getting a chance.
I think North will be looking for a top 3 finish this year and I expect them to win here by 4 goals.

Re: R1 Centrals v North Friday 2.10 PM
Centrals have been a mixed bag in the off season.
On paper I don't believe they have recruited as well as other clubs but showed a fair bit of promise in the first two trial game. The final trial game though was as far from a great result as you can get but it is just a trial game and they don't often reflect the season.
For mine I hope we put in a good four quarter effort even if that means we go down by a goal. What I would hate to see other than the obvious capitulation is that we only play 3 quarters and have the one shocker that costs us. The one bad quarter effort game has hindered us for 5 years now, to see that straight off the bat with Thommo would be very disheartening. A four quarter effort win or lose would be a real encouraging sign imo.
Apparently North have picked up another player from Crystal Brook this year whose a bit of a gun in the same mold of the Coombes boys.

Over the years North have a habit of getting belted by Centrals in Round 1, think this will be a close one with the Doggies home by 3 points

Going to be tough for us this week against a very good side.Hopefully we have a real crack but as mentioned earlier we cant afford to drop out of games like we have in the past otherwise we will get beaten easily .

North could be in trouble, according to that quality journalism our debutants are lining up against the Tigers. The rest of the team that's facing the Bulldogs might miss those two players.

Wedgie.
Groucho insisted that they changed from the Bulldogs to the Tigers due to the sponsorship on the guernsey.
The Tigers are now happy and
Cut and Paste. Thank God I've never fecked up,

Great to see Lochie Wilsdon have a crack.
Very talented sportsmen and gave up cricket this year to concerntrate on being in Adelaide and getting himself as fit as possible.

Purchased the digital pass and will watch on TV today despite having season passes as I've woken up with flu like symptons and will do the right thing.
