West to bounce back here. Somewhat.

Beat Norwood first time round on a Friday night by 3 goals.

Norwood still in the hunt for a double chance. West will be improved with Beech and Gore likely inclusions. Puopolo likely to miss for Norwood.

Norwood by 4 goals.

I wouldn't be surprised if West win this, after the crap week they've had.

To be honest they probably only have one goal in mind.

The week after the Bays kicked 1.4 against Norwood they pushed Sturt to 6 points, and the next week they knocked off the top-of-the-table Eagles.

So there's been a precedent of sorts.

Norwood will be without veteran forward Paul Puopolo for its encounter with West Adelaide at The Parade.

The triple Hawthorn premiership forward will miss 4-6 weeks after injuring the medial ligament in his knee against Glenelg on Saturday.

With fellow small forward Xavier Tranfa out due to suspension, the Redlegs have called upon Cole Gerloff, Nick Pedro and potential debutants Michael Cavallaro and Mitchell Cotter as replacements.

All four have been listed on the extended interchange bench with fellow inclusion Lachlan Pascoe, who provides cover at either end of the ground.

Awful game of footy.

R Douglas 3 Votes.

Norwood in a transition phase and West just poor all round.

Really feel sorry for West, don’t have much $$ to play with and don’t see it changing for a while. One positive is their 18s are strong and have some who look like they will transition to league footy in a years.
