Simples
Whoever wins out of Central v Port plays finals.
If North beat Sturt they also play finals.
Perfect set up with all three teams holding destiny in their own hands.
(Apart from any draws), the only complexity is if North and Central both lose, when it becomes a percentage issue. In that event, you would suspect neither side would make it past round one of Finals anyways.

But how retrospective. Torrens in 1975 and Norwood in 1982 would be in huge strife as well.
Maybe that would be a plan for South to make the five.

Woodville in 1985 with 46.35% was the last.

West in 1979 had 48.3%

and they had 6 wins, IIRC, which might be a record for the bottom placed team. Wan't much between 10th and 7th. If only Woodville had beaten Port at Woodville, Port would have come bottom.

Interesting weekend coming up!
We haven't beaten Port for 5 years, last win in 2018 at Alberton by 22 points,
BUT we hadn't won at Prospect for 4 years too, so anything could happen.
Sturt haven't won at Prospect for 4 years either!

West had 7 wins and a draw in a 22 game season.

The ladder for that year shows how even it was
