Ease up!

It's happening.

We're 5 & 5 and in 4th spot, mainly through default,
North, Eagles, South & Norwood were all expected to be up in the 5 but I'm relatively happy so far,
still think we'll end up with about 8 wins though but I'll take that.
ON current form, we should win 3 of the next 5 matches but who knows what will happen,
apart from Strut & Genelg, the 5 is wide open!

Good performance from the dogs.

Defence is rock solid atm. Midfield is battling and working together well week in week out.

Forward line is the area of improvement.

Aiden grace who is working his aR%e off atm has kicked 10.15 this year and hasnt converted many set shots. he is a natural forward and if he can fix his set shot ratio.

We will improve greatly imho.

Seemed pretty disappointed with himself at the end of the first quarter, went to full back straight after the siren to apologise to the backmen for letting them down after their good work.

Downgraded to 2 weeks with an early guilty plea.
McCormack was lucky IMO to only get 1 with the early plea.

Obvs we don't have access to lawyers this year, both should have been appealed.

East's report said high contact and the only contact was to his leg. If Comitogianni was concussed as another poster said, it can't have been from this incident, his head makes very light contact when he lands.

McCormack was in the same pack, not advancing at any pace from distance, and wrestled another Eagle to get to the contest, Sinor was obscured initially and low by the time Billy got there. Free kick every day, no report though as he is not solely determining his own motion. Moment of impact in the pic - does he look in control of his momentum?

Turning AFL
I think we're turning AFL,
I really think so.

Both are very soft incidents.
Find it hard to believe that someone watches the replay and decides that these are reportable offences.

Wont have helped that both players had previously been suspended this season.

Both are suspensions every day of the week. Especially the Comma one given he’s got a concussion out of it. The incident was not in play and completely unnecessary. Re the Sinor one, shaping to bump a player with his head over the ball like that is just plain stupid.

Absolutely spot on. Anyone with any understanding of footy (take out bias Centrals supporters in these cases) will agree the suspensions are 100% warranted, chuck in their records this year, and no wonder the Club accepted the penalties straight away.

All SANFL players should’ve learnt from the Searle and Saunders incident.

McMormack’s contact is no where near as bad as Searles but he can be thankful the guilty plea only gets him a week. One can argue it should’ve been two.

Front on contact that is high is going to get you a holiday.

No Centrals bias at all .
The fact that people believe an incident like McCormacks is a suspension is why football is a joke.
A free kick is all that is warranted from the incident if anything.
The collier dawkins tackle shouldn't have been sited either, it was just a hard tackle nothing else.
Far too many players are getting reported for minor incidents, I'm sure we'll have a few during the finals where people's opinions will differ.

That should count for setting penalties, but should not determine if an incident is reportable.

Unless you are McAdam from the Crows, where you get reported for rough conduct the first game back from a 4 week holiday for rough conduct, and get a $125 fine from your considerable AFL wages.

They are no longer Minor incidents though, that's where you are way off the mark. Anything involving the head or potential to cause injury will be dealt with as in the AFL as nobody wants to get sued down the track by players who have after affects due to concussion. Time to get up with the modern game or move on

Agree. The head has to be protected at all costs. The evidence is too clear to show the damage caused from these head knocks.

I know Jake C and he is out for minimum two weeks due to that incident, that is the best case scenario  May not look much on video according to some, but shows what affect these dangerous actions have, he is lucky to only get suspended for two matches really.
