I was disappointed with North allowing the Crows to outscore North by 22 points in the last quarter, but that is the second time in a row that the Crows have scored 5 goals to 1 in the last quarter. They also came from 33 points down albeit in the second quarter to defeat South by 5 points in Round one.
Are these comebacks just a quirk or do the professionals have such a superior fitness base compared to the part timers?
In the third quarter North did lose two important big men in Hilder and Finlay. I hope that they are OK. Of course we don't hear anything in the media these days regarding SANFL injuries,

On the Internet coverage they said that Hilder had left the ground with a leg injury and within 15 minutes Finlay also had left the ground with a leg injury. I did notice that Hilder walked onto the ground with the other two players from the Interchange bench immediately the siren sounded.
Finlay was nowhere to be seen. It is a relief to see that his injury should only cost one week at most.
