West v Central R5

Unusually, I see Central have named Saturday's team (although it's a huge squad).

I'm not sure Pickering is the answer (yet, he's young) in ruck. One disposal for the day is a big positional loss. I see Harvey Howe at 205cm got 16 disposals in the ressies. How's his form been? I saw him.get injured early at Prospect, thankfully not badly. Or could Posthuma ruck with Thomas?

Think it's because the SANFL round starts tomorrow.
Pickering is not the answer at this stage, hope he proves me wrong.
I asked the question about Posthuma rucking, but nobody replied.
From what I've watched so far I'd just play Howe.
Or is there a possibility of the club trying to find a replacement.

Some very handy INs for The 'Dogs.
Can we finally crack the 100 points?
West at Richmond always is a hard game for us.

Alex Morgan will be debuting for the bloods this week.

Fingers crossed he has a great game. Absolutely amazing bloke who has had a lot of bad fortune in his time but continued to persist.

The irony of the debut against Centrals is that last season he met with Mark Ross, toured the club and was all set to play for the Dogs. Unfortunately, a work load increase on the family farm prevented that. He went on to win the mail medal up here and given we play against Adam Hartlett and Chris Schmidt regularly they were able to get him across to Westies. Alex spoke extremely highly of the Dogs and Rossy but the timing just wasnt right.

West will give it all but the dogs will be barking to the tune of 27 points when the final siren sounds

Jack Callinan,18yo son of Ian "Nutta" Callinan will make his debut on Saturday. A half fwd with dad's finesse (22 disposals at 95% last week), here's hoping his family get over from Tassie for the occasion.

His inclusion means either Gasper hasn't made it back or we have made a second change from last week.

Pickering unfortunately is a liability. One possesion, dropped a sitter on our 50 and followed up with a free kick. We need someone that can pack mark. Their ruck has taken it out the ruck 4 times. Another half to hopefully prove me wrong.

An ugly win, but nonetheless a win.

2nd straight week the club has had a clean sweep too.

Happy to be 5-0 to start the season. The club has now won 8 of its last 9 matches.

The club's last 2 losses have both been against Sturt - a chance to buck that trend next week.

Hammy apparently.

Good to see, James and Chris, Quinno Graham, Brayden O'hara, Ian Callinan, Damien Hicks. Charles Slattery, Johnny Platten and Boof Lehman there supporting the team.
