Kirkland has been playing well. I would think Bogle comes in.

Ventured to Alberton on a perfect night for football. A fairly free-flowing and entertaining, yet error riddled game. South particularly wasteful in front of goals

The visitors pretty much played the match a man down, with Wilkinson (early hammy?) not registering a stat. Appears as though young Clifton also injured a knee just before the final break.

Northam, Davis, Howes (3 goals), Hargrave, Magor named best. Thought Jeffries did some nice things and Grocock was lively but squandered opportunities (3.4). Defensively South were very poor though.

A few ponderings....

Port's coach is channeling his inner Pat Riley with the amount of hair product used. On the NBA theme, were the alberton benches/dugouts designed with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Patrick Ewing in mind?

What was the double goal for in the third quarter? Led to a run of Power goals.

Correct in saying Jack Watkins was picked up by Port on the eve of the season under the "revised rules to appease Koch" which we all love? 34 touches, 7 clearances, 4 tackles, and a nomination for goal of the season. Handy.

1563.

Much better turn out than the corresponding match last season (900ish from memory), which wasn't a huge surprise.

Good summary. Hamish Hartlett is the coach.
