I have watched this, I quite enjoyed it
some black humour but generally a good drama

I started watching it when first released on Fox, but then somehow lost track of it .. Reckon it could be another box-series marathon job sometime in the not too distant future

Just can't watch shows on TV anymore.

Partly because of the way the networks stuff audiences around.

These days I'll watch the first ep or so on TV and if I like it, it's off to JB...

Hostel

Apparently a scary movie...I thought it was more soft porn for the first 30 min, then just pure violence after that

Easy to forget what a great comic actor Tom Hanks is (or was.)

Host of memorable lines.

Jimmy Dugan's 'banter' with the fat kid Stillman cracks me up the most.

Especially when he pegs the glove at him and scons him, smack, bang in the face.

Kept rewinding that bit...

Wait until season 3... INSANE!

Season 4 tugs at the heartstrings a bit more.

Reakon it's a show without peer.

Some of Jimmy Dugan's finest...

"I haven't got ball players, I've got girls!"

"There's no crying in baseball."

Kid reading signed autograph: "Avoid the clap"
Jimmy: "That's good advice!"

"Oh God, we can't go to the World Series without Stillman's toys."

"Uh, Lord, hallowed be Thy name. May our feet be swift; may our bats be mighty; may our balls... be plentiful. Lord, I'd just like to thank You for that waitress in South Bend. You know who she is - she kept calling Your name. And God, these are good girls, and they work hard. Just help them see it all the way through. Okay, that's it."
