It’s only hair but still a medical condition. Would you do it if you had a Down syndrome child and someone took the piss?

Not saying I'm on board with what Rock said, but you can't just belt someone for being offended. Imagine how that will work in 2022!

Lucky he only got slapped, it was toned down. He wasn’t just offended, his was sticking up for his wife.

It happened in the US, it’s a wonder a gun wasn’t pulled

He laughed at first, then looked at her to see her reaction!

I gather Comedy Central won't be doing a Will Smith Roast any time soon.

He wasn't, he was explaining why he reacted the way he did. Thought it was good.. who knows what he's going through behind closed doors.

Everyone is picking sides here, to me both acted like dickheads and have to share the blame.

One was doing his job, the other one was Will Smith

The explanation justifies the action and the action was the only thing that needed the apology IMO.

I don't find that whiney dickhead funny at all.
So he's lucky it was just a slap.
Calling him a comedian is a stretch in my opinion.

Comedy is subjective, more than anything else, perhaps. Dave Hughes has made a career out of whatever it is he does. So too Shaun Micallef.

I think it was a load of bullshit, staged for sure.

Why would he just slap him? If he hit him that hard there would of been some marking, minor blood at least from teeth hitting the lip or inner mouth, he wouldn't of remained basically motionless with such force.

A good comedian can entertain and amuse a crowd without it coming at the expense of someone else's dignity or well being.

Fine line we all walk now, hey?

Who was the dickhead who agreed for him to use that joke?
Surely someone signs off on it first.

Yep, they're probably both having a drink and laugh over it now as they pillage the writers for millions.

They wanted the Oscars to return with a bang, it's America doing American things.

It's gone too far to be staged, and if it is, they both can be nominated for lead actor in a drama for next years Emmys

And some ( Jimmy Carr ) make a shit load from it. Subjective.

100% agree with both statements.
Dave Hughes is just not funny.

Taking the piss out of a woman with a medical condition may get you a belt in the mouth.
