Absolutely, my favourite show at the moment...very addictive

The episode they showed on Thursday night was a belter. Unfortunately they still want $50 odd for the early dvd series.
Hey soccer you owe us 45million.

I quite enjoyed it, but they cut it short ... The IMDB reviews were a little scathing, particularly from people who claimed to have served in Iraq and thought it was too far from the truth .. I actually have the DVD set somewhere (which I think only consisted of the Pilot + 1 or 2 seasons), will try and watch again to see if it's as good as I thought at the time (It was the Deadwood replacement on Fox, so maybe I was just clutching to find something to fill the void)

Watching the new Star Trek Blu Ray on my new 50 inch Full HD plasma with home theatre recently installed.
Can't wait!
Last DVD watched was the 1991 ACDC concert at Donnington on Blu Ray on my PC last night to test out the new combo I installed. Sounded great but it looks soooooo much better on the Plasma than LCD!

Disregard my last comment about watching Star Trek tonight as Mrs Wedgie just informed me she's invited her loud mouth friend over to watch too so I'll be staying in the computer room tonight and then in the doghouse for at least the rest of the weekend.

I'll persist through to the end of the series.

But don't see what all the fuss is about...

You have to remember that Americans are easily impressed Mappa. That is why they adopt British shows and dumb them down.

Ditto. It's just another average run of the mill comedy yet some critics would have you believe it's Fawlty Towers, Absolutely Fabulous and Yes Minister rolled into one.

The '70s original, or the '00s "re-imagining"?

Both have their merits, but I think the re-imagined series is superb. Just acquired part 1 of series 4, am looking forward to getting through this in the next few weeks.

The "re-imagining". Amazing scripts, they must've had some superb writers. Just finished series 3 last night. Even if you're not a sci-fi person, this series would still appeal.
