Anyone watch this doco on SBS tonight about the 100m final in 1988 and interviews most of the finalist.
Fascinating stuff and you really get the feeling they were all on the stuff.

Twas excellent viewing. Say what you like about Ben Johnson but I always hated Carl Lewis.

It was good viewing. Would have been interesting if that guy that re-tested the samples from 1984 using todays tests kept the results!!

Was a great show, really enjoyed it. Even Mrs.Boon found it interesting and she has zero interest in any sports.

The chap at the end who said he tested a heap of samples from 1984 and decided not to disclose the results, not knowing what would come of it, WHY? We would love to know.

Got to be on it to be in it.

had a laugh when straight after the scientist said that the drug of choice at the time was growth hormone, and how it affects your lower jaw and it wasn't coincidence that so many athletes were getting braces, there was carl lewis blowing the lid on drug users and how he has to race against cheats etc, and he had braces.

You could tell it was depressing to him.

Carl Lewis - I can think of a saying but probably not appropriate although I can say it involves a pot and a kettle.
