Sure, it has probably gone a season or two too long, but the way Ch7 have treated the 7th season has really annoyed me. Showed some early in the year, then a couple months ago a couple new episodes, then suddenly stopped again. Don't know whether they have shown all the season or not.

Pretty standard, really!

It's as if local networks don't give a rats that most shows today have overarching storylines.

Still stuck in a timewarp where most shows were stand-alone episodes and, except for the season opener/ender, could be shown in any order.

Thank f@%k for DVD/Blu-Ray/Downloads...

Yeah, think have to wait until March for the DVD to come out in Australia, whereas the last season's was Nov last year. I probably shouldn't complain as I could do the downloads or get it from somewhere, but I'm a bit old-fashioned and like to wait till I can sit down in front of the telly.

Cajun Pawn Stars
Desert Car Kings

The latter, Desert Car Kings was a ripper. But they only made 10 episodes. The show wasn't renewed in 2012 after 1 season.

Pawn Stars which is about the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vagas is a great show. It's on both 7mate and foxtel.

Re the Digital channels - I can't believe how much GO has turned to crap. I haven't watched it much for a long time, and looking at the TV Guide yesterday confirmed why - nothing all all worth watching.

I'm thinking that this could be because some of the shows they showed for the first 12-24 months were switched to NINE's other digital stations (or alternatively picked up by SEVEN's or TEN's digital channels), or perhaps they thought they should stop showing so many repeats. That certainly hasn't stopped ELEVEN, who must be on about their 26th round of FAMILY TIES and HAPPY DAYS.

Channel 10's One has gone backwards at a great rate of knots since they moved away from their sports focus. Surely they could find another fishing show or something else other than endless episodes of Cops....

I've never really watched ONE much, the sports they showed on there in the past are one's I'm not really interested in. I do watch Ten's other digital channel ELEVEN a bit though.

Would be interesting to know how profitable some of these digital stations are, especially the apparently low rating ones such as ONE.

I think for the most part they are reasonably low cost stations. I think seven and nine would make a decent profit from their data stations

Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule is quite good, me thinks.

Next Stop Hollywood on ABC1 last night was alright.

First ep dragged a bit coz they were setting up the characters and the world.

But picked up once they started chasing agents/managers/auditions.

Related to the clueless big unit.

Kinda worries me a bit...

Saw this preview this morning, whilst watching the ABC's morning tv show.

Lots of recognisable faces, even (actor who played) Falcon-Price from Blue Heelers gets a gig.

Looks a bit different to what I've seen on Australian tv in the past.

I enjoy it. Not the best show on TV, but it has its moments.

Best shows for me are:
Sons of Anarchy
Game of Thrones
Californication
Greys Anatomy
Boardwalk Empire
How I Met Your Mother
American Dad
Eastbound and Down

Overrated:
The Walking Dead
The Simpsons (new, not old)

Want to see:
Revolution
Falling Skies
Breaking Bad

Yeah I started watching the first season of Breaking Bad, but never finished it.
Wasn't because I didn't like it, just didn't get around to it.
Liked what I did see.
