And they all lived happily ever after.

Still not sure what to think. Havnt got my head around how disappointed I am yet.
Kind of wish I stopped at season 6, but I would have watched the end knowing what I know now just because it was so good up until then.
I just dunno.

This shit me to tears and made no sense.. i mean why would the unsullied arrest him and lock him away waiting for lords and ladies to come to Kings Landing when their queen has been killed? Wouldn't they just want to kill Jon?!

Yep that one fked me off and made zero sense. There's no way Grey Worm was imprisoning Dany's killer, nor Tyrion for that matter.

And where did all those Dothraki and Unsullied come from?

Where were they hiding in the Battle of the Norf?

I really liked the ending

I think it was super rushed and not fleshed out but I think the overall story of what happened suited

Think they just fked up by not having 10 EPs in the final 2 seasons

Reckon i would've liked a little twist in the dying scences as well that showed the future might not be all sunshine and rainbows - like a bunch of dragon eggs hidden away somewhere, or a white walker/similar somewhere.. something that closes the show but you think aww yeah it's not over.

I think the main challenge for fans to reconcile is that the show was famous for shock and awe, via brutality and deceptive actions. But nothing shocked in the final episode.

I guess we'll never know, but given it's been such a TV staple for so many, how much of the disappointment just comes down to the fact that we can't watch our favourite characters anymore? Ie, were we ever going to be satisfied?

Yeah that too, the Dothraki looked like they had about 30 survivors after the Great War, yet there they were at the end in full battalion mode.

I didn't mind the ending in the sense that the Starks won... Which is good... But I feel last night episode was so rushed they just missed out on so much

Cant believe they all knew Jon's true identity and have followed him the whole time, yet no one thought to nominate him for king.

As I said before, the reason was to build a better world. We don't know definitively that they did tho, in fact if anything it just left you thinking it was a reset and all the same old rivalries, allegiances and wars would inevitably follow anyway.

There is no way Tyrion should have survived

Him being locked up was extremely contrived - they could have easily just given Jon the same info in the scenes before. Then Dany slays Tyrion on top of the castle thingy and it prompts Jon to kill her. Maybe then he dies at the hands of grey worm etc. And they don't need to reinvent the huge armies to act as the threat to Jon not accepting the move to the nights watch.

Something like that arguably would have been more true to the previous seasons

Speaking of which - what are the nights watch watching out for now? There are no more white walkers and the wildlings are friendly now?

I thought that about the Nights Watch, but given Jon just trottled off to live among the free folk I guess means he came to the same conclusion

Let's be honest, his "brother" is the King of the 6 Kingdoms and his "sister" is queen of the North...

Once the Unsullied have buggered off they could just pardon him...

Lots of options for spin offs now, Arya the Explorer, the North, Bran the Dragon controller...

I thought this too - you reckon he's just desserted his post and gone to live out his days free beyond the wall? Seriously as if anyone is going to bother chasing him anyway.

Jon Snow - the King beyond the wall.

Jon Snow - the Queenslayer* beyond the wall.
