Dogs in Space.
Although I don't know if it's out on DVD yet. For anyone who was involved in the punk scene* and who visited Melbourne during the eighties it's pretty close.
(* By punk scene I mean real punk. Not College Kids wearing black eye shadow and going to stadium gigs in limos and calling themselves punk :P )

Its not Aussie, its Kiwi (close enough) but one of the best is Bad Taste (Meet the Feebles didn't do it for me like Bad Taste did)

Remember getting talked into going to see this Aussie flick about 11 years ago that had Dee Smart (who some of you may remember) in it and I can't remember what it was called but IMHO it was one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Exactly what I was thinking!

Heaps of B-Grade flicks from the 1970s/80s when the 10BA system was in full swing.

The yobbo comedies (Bazza McKenzie, Alvin Purple, Stork), shlocky horrors (Patrick, Long Weekend, Nightmares, anything directed by Richard Franklin) and corny dramas (Freedom, Chain Reaction, Hard Knocks.)

Stone is another that springs to mind.

Mad Max is really a B-Grade movie - but executed with A-Grade brilliance.

Still trying to wipe Dogs In Space from my memory...

BTW Stone is brilliant. You should check that one out Punky.

Houseboat Horror is the worst (and therefore one of the best) Australian films ever made. More Q grade than B Grade. It 'stars' Jim from Neighbours (whose swearing is so inappropriate your sides will ache), Animal from Hey Hey its Saturday, Gavin Wood from Countdown and features a fantastic camp cameo from John Michael Howson. Honestly you will never see a worse film than this. It's that great!!

Definition of "OXYMORON" is "B GRADE AUSSIE FLICKS"
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.
