The Age has endorsed what the Power thought it knew all along – the Power has the best membership packs in the AFL. In a recent article published by The Age newspaper, it has found that after a recent review, they believed the Port Adelaide membership provided the best packages with the best extras for supporters.

With a range of membership options to suit every supporter, the article was quoted as saying “Port Adelaide is looking after its fans in fine style.”

The Power has introduced some new alternatives for supporters this season including the Platinum package which rewards supporters who purchase memberships and season tickets in one newly designed package, while there is also a package to suit young business professionals. Along with these there are also the regular packages that are designed for the wide range of Power supporters who support the club.

Headlined ‘Power Members are no Mugs’ and written by Emma Quale, the article goes on to list Port Adelaide at No. 1 in the ‘best run-of-the-mill membership packages’ category.

Quale writes: “Port Adelaide is looking after its fans in fine style, sending out not only the standard stickers, lanyard, fridge magnets and club magazines, but Power binoculars, a Power DVD that has highlights of the last season and a Power travel mug.”

The article went on to praise the junior membership packages as well saying that “Port Adelaide looks after its young members too.” The Power has two junior membership options to choose from along with a baby membership for the extra small supporters.

They have to make it as attractive as possible so the fickle fans will stay with them.
North Adelaide in the SANFL has the opposite issue, very loyal fans so the club is lazy and has the worst range of memberships available as they know they'll join regardless.
