Talk on the national game

Rory Sloane must have been terrible on Footy Classified last year to be sacked and replaced by Dermott Brereton

Surely there is someone more modern out there than getting Derm back.

Both Dangerfield and Pendlebury will both walk into any job they want when they retire, both speak so well.

For the most part, I like Gorringe. Footy media these days is either boring or clickbait merchants

Agreed, my comment wasn't meant to be one of dislike, anything that challenges the old guard I'm ok with, more an observation that it was, in fact, a matter of time before he pushed too far.

He clearly resonates with the younger generation, my kids think he's hilarious, and I've been dragged kicking & screaming into the 21st century by them.

His take on Matty Lloyd was brilliant, loved Lloydy as a footballer but as a media pundit, the bloke is home brand vanilla.

His comments about Gerard Whately paints the main as an egotist, and a fragile one at that. This week should make for interesting viewing, hopefully

I thought that actually worked well when paired next to the flogs (Barrett McLure etc.) , he was the only one who made sense.

I don't watch the footy shows often as its repeating the same thing across 119 weekly shows

A reel from Daniel Rioli's facebook page appeared on my feed so I thought I'd take a look, I ended up following him (in a non-freaky way).

Bloody Hell, what a delightful young man and his missus is pure quality too, very enjoyable watching the two.

Secondly, I've started listening to the Gary Ablett autobiography during my afternoon walks, it's a great listen, I had forgotten about the Paul Chapman heroics in the 09 GF and didn't realise how bad his injury was. 26 touches, 8 inside 50's and 3 goals in a low scoring GF with a f*****d hammy is sheer toughness and resilience.

Article on SEN regarding Angus Brayshaw’s attempts to get his insurance payout for his concussion related retirement. Appalling treatment but not unexpected from the insurance industry.
