Talk on the national game

Round 22 - Possibilities and Probabilities.

Postby Jim05 » Sat Aug 23, 2014 6:15 pm

With both clubs having record members I cant see the AFL passing up the almighty dollar when everything they do regarding fixturing etc is aimed at maximising profits.
Not fussed if its at Etihad apart from the fact a lot of fans would be locked out

with the exception of the first quarter, and ziebell, i dont think you guys deserved the win either.

crows dominated most of the game but just couldnt put it on the scoreboard. ziebell was the difference in that regard

But you have 'The Best' Full forward in the game as well as the most expensive forward pocket ever surely it's not the forward lines fault with them to up there????? ;)

Sorry xx

Yeah today was a kick in the guts. There's been a few, but in reality we have too many average footballers at the moment. Walker and betts don't fit in that category but.

Few dodgy calls against the hawks in some bad spots but geelong have been fast and have controlled the ball.

Why can't they just get too old and slow....

So duncan stokes Guthrie having 67 touches before half time has nothing to do with it?

These rabbits at half time banging on about how bad Melbourne have been and only kicking 21 points for a half blah blah blah maybe if these dicks look at the game there at The Hawks have kicked less in the first half!

We know Melbourne are shit, but for the Cats to keep the Hawks to 20 points in a half is a great effort.

Where did i say the scoreline has anything to do with the umpires DH.
I'm more than happy for Geelong to keep winning the minor round games, I have even backed them for a small fortune
At least we will be playing in two weeks time.

Just referring to the Bartel free. Bet he wont cop the same scrutiny as Thomas does and IMO this was far worse than the Thomas push in the back.

Wasn't it you who said if you have to resort to name calling then you've lost the argument.

And yes Bartels dive was bad but nowhere near as bad as Thomas.
