Pretty sure they are being brought up as Navy Blues.

That won’t matter when Carlton don’t win anything for another 20 years :)

2018-1998=20

Ah 20 years eh. A golden era.

Not sure what an SANFL club has to do with an AFL thread.
You’re a funny lot you crowies.

 NM fans talking about premierships droughts is quite laughable tbh.

About a year less laughable than a Crows supporter.

Your misquoting there, Benny.
Care to go back to the North thread preseason, some of your comments are nothing short of astounding ;)

What was the previous longest streak?

**** I feel for Carlton supporters. Gone from being arguably the strongest club in Australia 18-20 years ago to becoming what they are now.

You can argue either way with what Elliot did but at least the club had an identity and Stood up for something even if it was fuelled at times controversially and with brown paper bags- Still need to perform and those heavily involved at Carlton in the 90’s at all levels are scathing of the takeover after Elliot.

There is only so long you can blame previous management for the current issues.

I don't feel at all for Carlton supporters. Most have shown that they are complete wankers over the years.

That’s a very general statement though.

The media fuelled opinion and smashing of the Elliott/Carlton days is contrasting to when you speak to people heavily involved- Some of those are still involved and they just shake their heads. After hearing a lot of sides of the story I must say I don’t blame the old brigade for being scathing.

I’m happy to hang sh*t on players and coaches who get paid very well but I think it’s harsh too pay out supporters who pay their hard earned each week and pay yearly memberships.

All clubs have a minority of supporters who are wankers unfortunately.
