Neade as sub.

Why Neade? He offers nothing at this level.

Reckon Kenny needs to change things up for the power this week. As your forward depth isnt great I'd be tempted to throw Jacko forward, drop Lobbe and play Ryder as number one ruck.

Drop Monfries and possibly Westoff, can't recall many kicks outside the defensive 50m this year. Could easily change the dynamics of the forward line and go smaller. Bring in another midfielder and have Grey/wingard deep inside 50m a lot more.

If i was a Port supporter id be hoping to see things shaken up and a notice a new moves etc from the coaches.

You can't reward Ryder with an upgrade after last weeks poor effort.

Not sure its a reward, put the pressure back on him. Tell him "you got 2 weeks to show us why we recruited you or you'll be playing reserves"

Jonas ommitted and Carlisle injured. These are the 2 confirmed changes from as many as 5, according to Ken.

Finally, the axe has been swung on Jonas- will be interesting to see who else is on the chopping block.

Cold and likely wet Thursday night so no surprises that it will be big men on the outer.

Clurey for Jonas, maybe a O'Shea for Carlile?

We've got Cloke and White to deal with in their F50. Trengove to White and Hombsch to Cloke?

Tommy Jonas first Sanfl game in a while to be against his former club, bit of irony .. Hope he goes alright, because when he's playing to his capabilities I enjoy watching him.

It's the best thing for Tommy- go back and get a bit of touch, and hopefully get him back to what he was producing over the last 2 years. When he is playing to his maximum potential- he is an incredibly important part of our side.

Boon- I agree- Clurey and O'Shea likely inclusions. Neade as sub looks probable also.

Who else to be omitted, you think?

Do we play both Lobbe and Ryder in the expected conditions? I'm going to call it, Ryder out.

I would've had O'Shea in weeks ago, if not to strengthen the side it would be so he could show some promise as a possible trade bait.
Getting Clurey back for a token run is a redundant move with limited time to regain touch in the SANFL and if they pick Neade in the 22 I'm tipping against them.
