Allegedly only have a million left in a 27 million line of credit. Continually negotiating repayments to this lender.

They are in big strife!

Laura Kane on media street this week, I reckon she's been impressive in most of what I've seen.

Warren Tredrea has lost his case against the Nine Network claiming he was unfairly dismissed.

A judge has weighed in on Warren Tredrea’s $5.7 million clash with the Nine Network in a judgment fuelled by the ongoing Covid vaccine debate.

Media personality and former footballer Warren Tredrea has lost his high-profile $5.7 million dispute with the Nine Network that was fuelled by both the Covid pandemic and assertions of poor workplace performance.

In a Judgement on Thursday, the Federal Court ruled against Tredrea’s claim he had been unfairly dismissed from his role as Nine’s SA sports newsreader due to its internal vaccination mandate.

Tredrea is expected to speak about the court’s decision at a press conference outside his lawyer’s chambers at 2pm.

Tredrea had asked the court to award him $5,775,000, claiming he was wrongfully dismissed due to Nine’s “unreasonable” Covid policy.

He denied he performed poorly in the job, claiming he “broke more stories” than his colleagues – who, Tredrea claimed, won awards “off the back of me”.

In response, Nine news director Jeremy Pudney told the court Tredrea’s “factually inaccurate” comments about the Covid-19 vaccine left his reputation “permanently bruised”.

He said he considered Tredrea – who was paid more than $216,000 a year for less than four hours’ work a day – was being “compensated too highly”.

The court also heard evidence regarding vaccines from competing expert witnesses – Professor Nikolai Petrovsky for Tredrea, and Associate Professor Paul Griffin for Nine.

The court retired in August last year to consider its decision – since then, Tredrea has been elected to the Port Adelaide Football Club board with 50.9 per cent of the vote.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

I honestly felt like the Covid carry-on was the perfect chance for Nine to give him the boot. Used to listen to him destroy the English language when he was on the radio, made for a most enjoyable drive to work!

Saw her on the couch and thought she went alright.
Seems to be pretty clever and definitely got her head in the game.
She's going to need it as I can see some issues with head knocks being accidental and blokes getting rubbed out.

I don't think they were going to get rid of him before this. It's common for the stations to get some local "stars" in, even if they are terrible, however it's easy to move them on because well they are terrible.

When the Covid carry on started, it was always easy to let him go under the cover thst he was generally terrible. For evidence you just had to listen to him.

I can handle Cotchin in small doses but Selwood is just plain terrible.
I’d rather listen to Kelly Underwood

I've not seen Talking Footy.
Both Selwood and Cotchin don't really appeal to me. Selwood special comments is hard enough to listen too.
