Realistically, Even at full strength we could very well start 0-5. Tough draw first up. Unlike our neighbors ;)

Hows that? You both play 2 teams that finished above you last year in the 1st 5 rounds

Nice way to twist things mate.

A showdown is always 50/50 not to mention Freo who are never easy to beat.

My opinion it's a tough first 5 rounds. Would more than happily take 3-2

No twisting going on there mate they are the facts.
One might say you have the easier draw overall what with playing so many teams from below you on the ladder. Am i right in saying you only play 4 games against teams from above you? Without doing to much research i reckon the crows play at least 10 of these games,
Mind you its good of the AFL to give the premiers the easiest draw ;)

The flaw in your theory, Days is that your basing it on last year's results, which are now completely irrelevant. Teams like Gold Coast, Bulldogs and even Crows will be a very different proposition in 2015. Brisbane also. We won't know who has a hard or easy draw until September 2015.

Yeah i'm quite concerned.

Not from a squad performance perspective (we made a prelim minus Ryder, and Gus hardly set the world on fire coming back from his torn hamstring).

I guess concerning squad performance, if Ryder and Gus were given 6-12 month bans, hopefully Shaw can come on and get early games to give Westy a chop out. It simply puts extra emphasis on a healthy list,

The part that concerns me is the drafting of Ryder. Gus was picked up without any real knowledge of the ramifications down the track, so we can be excused there. The club knew full well, the risk of losing Paddy long term was a real possibility, yet we have paid big bucks for him and could potentially see him sitting on the sidelines long term. We wont know for 4+ years if pick 17 & 37 would have amounted to anything (they certainly wouldn't impact our flag chances over the next 2 years), but paying overs in the salary cap to fit Ryder in, and not reaping rewards does make me think "why bother"?

Well going by your theory days Hawks have the easier draw overall, all of their games are teams that finished below them last year.
