Recruiters and the coach have a lot to answer for here, compromising the culture of the club all for one player.
Pretty sure you wouldnt be 0-6 if you added the following players and took out Lance
Mumford
Mitchell
Nankervis
Spangher
Malceski
Jetta
X Richards
Patfull
Now i realize not all are still playing but still thats a lot of players pushed out the door for one man or in Patfulls case didnt get let in because the AFL were salty over Lance.

Its not all one way traffic though Carlton would be happy you took Laidler off their hands

Your post lost all credibility once you put Spangher in it.

And yes the Buddy deal is worthwhile.

Jetta not a loss
X Richards not a loss. His choice to leave. Was offered a contract and turned it down
Malceski was offered good coin and turned it down
Nankervis wanted out due to not getting opportunities.
Spangher hahahahaha
Mitchell is definitely covered by Heeney. His choice to leave certainly not going well for him
Patful was a loss.

Interesting stat I saw this morning, Swans have had 21 debutants since start of 2014. Only two have left the club. The other 19 have combined for a total of 352 games.
We have had 7 debutants this years and something like 10-12 players with less than 20 games experience. We are a very young side, we were last year and exceeded expectations. Extremely disappointed with our start and with our list we shouldn't be 0-6. But we are and we have to deal with it.

Horse isn't going anywhere and nor should he.

Was good enough to play in a premiership, remind who that was against?

Thats where youre wrong, we had to get rid of two last year, we couldnt afford to have 5 go this year. Gibson, Burgoyne and Hodge will finish up this year. Club did the right thing and got them to their club of choice and set them up individually for their future by not asking ridiculous price for them. We have lost no one we wanted to keep where as Sydney certainly have. Infact its the complete opposite, by not compromising team ethos in allowing Lance to leave we were able to keep everyone else and go on to win 2 more flags without him including one against him.
Happy with 4 flags in 8 from this era, now we build to next era of domination

He was a spud! Very lucky to be a premiership player.

We are one all in GF's.

Seems like only yesterday you were the most gracious of Swans gliding across the lake, or the most menacing or predatory birds, the Hawks, swooping down upon the unsuspecting.

Now you're just two seagulls fighting over a cold chip, or a Spangher, potato based product either way.

heard an interesting rumour yesterday. Apparently there was a massive fight after the AFL GF between the Sydney players. Apparently it has to do with the Buddy and Tippett contracts that were supposed to bring them premierships and they haven't won one since they went there. As I said its a rumour apparently more will come out in regards to this one.

This rumour is very old news, and has never been confirmed.

Few blokes would want to look at themselves before bitching about contracts after last years grand final.
