Here, troll, take this under your little bridge. I'll feed him lads, keep him happy for the meanwhile.

Port v Brisbane, Mothers Day, 4:10pm, Brisbane fans numbered in the sort of quantities even you could count, hardly any would have traveled, bottom 4 club, wet weekend, showery on the day. - 32,399

Bulldogs v Melbourne, any given Sunday, 3:20pm, two teams from Melbourne, one top 4 bound, one hopeful of a top 8 spot for the first time in years, nice day, sunshine - 39,921.

Your barbs are not only off the mark but they're showing your inferiority complex, despite the Doggies dynasty, still looms large over you.

So, Kenny's had enough of talking about Boak.
Listening to the radio yesterday, he got moved out of the mids to start the second (?) half - that's a real relegation for a class act.
What do you guys think about the situation? Is he just out of form, as Ken keeps telling us, or is there something more going on?

We keep getting told he's fine ( I do hear a small knee matter, but nothing to keep him off the field ) and some of the heat he copped in a 2-3 week period not long ago was simply unjustified, he had been down on output but hardly in "bad" form.

Can certainly give us more.

Boak is no orphan. When he goes missing so does half of Port.

But Boak shouldn't, not this often. He's the best leader at the club. Something's definitely not right, and I'd imagine it's injury related, but understandably the club wouldn't want it made public because they're intending to play him through it. Ken protects his players well, but they're not returning the favour unfortunately.

Maybe he's just being nullified more by opposition sides because his team mates simply aren't pulling their weight? Pressure on him grows more without Gray to support also.

If his midfield pulled their fingers out you'd see Boak impact more as a result ALA Brisbane game.. so blame the support not the skipper..

So blame everyone other than Boak? Is the skipper not to be held to account the same as the 43rd player on the list? You won't be blaming Wines out of that midfield group either, at least he's having a crack and getting his hands on the ball. I'm a Boak fan, but he's too good a player to be dishing up what he has this season and you can't afford for it to continue.

Nah not saying Boak hasn't got a case to answer for, just seems he gets more scrutiny that others, and I think part of his poor form is a reflection of the support around him or lack thereof.. Fix that and might see him delivering better numbers.

Playing close to his optimum then you think mate?

Look he's far from the only player down on form, but imho he hasn't impacted many (any?) games even remotely near the levels we know he's capable of .. The bloke is a star (as is Wingard, who's in the same boat) and you need for him to be playing to that level imho.

Not trying to bag the bloke, like I said Im a massive fan, but he needs to up his game somehow this season.

Not even close, but I think he's being looked at a little harshly....

Captains at all clubs are given more attention than any other players.

Cotchin, Walker, Ablett, are always under more scrutiny and pressure than others on the team

Might be harsh on my behalf, I just consider him elite when he's on top of his game and haven't seen it from him this year .. Clearly he's not the only one capable of better, but when he's on I reckon he lifts those around him.
