Hearing someone like "Pink" announce that her child is "gender neutral" just baffles me, so I wont begin to wonder why.

I think the daunting thing for some people is, for every rare instance you should adjust calling someone who looks like a male to "Ms", you have to assume anybody who looks like a male could want to be called "Ms".

If you meet a new person (who looks male) through a business connection, I can almost guarantee you would call them "Mr" without a second thought.

20 years ago we were to unconcerned, now in 2018 we have gone the ridiculously opposite way. I'm happy to accept one may want to change gender for a variety of reasons. I'm comfortable with 'Adults' choosing to change gender. I don't get it but that's not my choice.

BUT

I don't care what anyone on this planet tells me you are born with a gender, you have a penis you are born a BOY. You have a vagina you are born a FEMALE. Yes that may change over time but it does not change the fact at birth you had a gender.

In terms of gender etc - personally I think you can make a reasonable assumption - and if you are politely corrected then just go from there
