While on the subject, who has been the worst recruit Port have acquired over the years (recycled players only)?

John Rombotis.
Ian Downsborough
Cameron Cloke
Jimmy Toumpas

Downsborough was in my votes after I realised we snared him from the West.

Renouf had a one month patch where he was outstanding, he really looked to have got his knee(s) right and then he went down again, pretty much never to be seen.

9,16 and Nash. 9 was from Hawthorn, 16 was from Essendon.

The Hawks gave Essendon Mark Williams ( shoot 'em up guy ), pick 24 and 33 that they got from Geelong for picks 40 and 56.

Hitchy went from SANFL twos to AFL in one summer. Was tearing it up as a small forward/mid but Mickan wouldn't pick him in the league side.

Aaron Shattock, there'a a name. Nathan Lonie, good one Valleys.

Simon Phillips is in there too.

Just went through the drafts from 97>15 and Richmonds just got worse and worse and worse. They should just stay out of the trade period until they get someone in who has seen footy played before.

06 was very kind to us, take out the initial draft and it was the recruiting coup of Port's existence.

Gained Gray, Boak, Westhoff, Paul Stewart, N.Krakouer and Rodan.

After all these years in the AFL, still havent drafted a quality key forward, that we've been able to develop (Tredrea initial squad, Dixon a trade).

Exception perhaps is Chad Cornes, although he played better in defence.

The selection of Morgan about 15 years ago, was very costly, even if not taking into account missing out on Pavlich. I think that was our selection of a 17 year old.
