Anyone see him on the news at preseason training yesterday?
He'd been in a fair paddock.

Got to wonder if Carlton disclosed his issues to Richmond prior to the trade

Good question.......,Do they need too?
Or is it up to the player and the new club to discuss/disclose it?

Probably don't need to, but would be poor form if they knew about it and didn't disclose it.

So, what was the reason in the case of Betts, Garlett and Waite? Was it because they kicked too many goals?

They all left to play in better teams......Carlton never helped them clear out their lockers.
Yarran on the other hand had plenty of helpers clearing out his.

WTF?
He said this year his poor form and interrupted year was in part due to his mourning of the death of Muhammad Ali.
“I’m still mourning the passing of the great Muhammad Ali. I think that is something to note,” Lumumba said.

Strange cat this Lumumba... interesting that people haven't had a crack at his behavior more often.. after the Collingwood drama, now this, and using Ali as an excuse for poor form..

Imagine if Mundine or Goodes came out and said these sorts of things.. ;)

He's a cooked cat, yes. But that comment, in the retirement story, about Ali has been taken entirely out of context.
Earlier in the year he gave an interview where he said he was struggling with the death of Ali. Yes, interesting, possibly strange.
However, he didn't make the claim that it had prompted his delisting from Melbourne, or his concussion issues.
But, yeah, he's a bit of a head case.

His retirement and ongoing issues at Collingwood really reinforce how good a coach Malthouse was to get the best, team-oriented footy he could've out of players like Lumumba, Shaw, Dawes and Cloke.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

Well if he advanced on a bunch of kids with a war dance or cheered 9/11 I reckon you might be right.
