**** sake, burbury jaw, christesen back, Motlop, Selwood injured and now this! Add to that Menzel who has done four ACLs, Simpson who hasnt managed ten games yet and Hmac (sorry Wedge!). Yet to make his debut. We should be called the Black Cats.

Regards,

REB

Pity we don't have John Butcher. He would have been very handy to replace Vardy lol

This thread is about your spuds, not ours. Stay on track please. ;)

*At least we didn't trade for him*

McIntosh hardly a spud. Just an injury prone footballer. Can play!

His Wikipedia page reads injury, injury, injury, All-Australian, injury, injury, traded to Geelong for a 2nd Round pick, injury.

i truly wish him the best of luck because the big man can play
pity his body in the past hasnt let him
if he can stay on the park could be the difference between geelong being in the bottom of the top 8 and the top 4
also great to see the co-operation between cats and roos again weekends game

He would look like a superstar at Geelong after their recent spuds.

Your recent spud ruckman.

Blake? West?

We've certainly had trouble with our Ruck Division since Ottens has left. West was a big disappointment. At the end of 2011 he looked set to kick on but he just didn't do so. As for Blake that rates as one of the few blunders we have made with list management in the last five or six years. To think we let Mummy go to you blokes and shunted an ex-Captain to the Saints for that guy, it really grinds my gears.

If you are talking about Blicavs that guy could and will be anything. As a wet behind the ears footballer, let alone ruckman he was thrown into the breach at least 18 months too early and apart from the odd dud game he has done really well and will be an asset for us on the wing. If you are referring to Dawson Simpson this poor bloke can't get on the field for more than five minutes. If he can have an injury free season he'll be a revelation to the football world. He is a fair hunk of a lad (um, meaning he's big LOL) and he's got a good footy brain and goes in hard with the second effort even at ground level.

REB

Handy as a backup but the poor bloke will never be a lead Ruckman. We had no choice last year as Mumford, Simpson, West and McIntosh were all down. Thank god we got through this pre-season without injur.....oh right.

Goodes had to spend a year in the ruck when he shouldn't of but there was no other choice. Made him a better player. Won't have hurt blivacs. Probably sped up his development.
