Caro on footy classified said Buddy was past his best and has upset the 'working class players' at Sydney with his take $$$ and their is a rift.

Any thoughts?

What a load of shit. What were they paying Tippett , food stamps. Another case of a journalist taking a passing thought someone had and making a story out of it.

I think journos, footy commentators and the general footy public are little obsessed with Buddy at the moment. Think the only ones that aren't that fussed are Swans supporters.

Well, Tippett, Sydney premiers, big recruits, Franklin talking to Sydney early 2013.....yeah, what's the fuss about?

Anyway, of the 9 years you have to pay him for how many of them do you think he'll actually play for?

I'd wager he won't be playing in 2018.

Not sure. Goodes is still running around so it's possible. Would love to see how the contract is loaded up. My guess is it is heavily front ended.

That is a good signing, so much respect for this guy with what he went through and to still seem so strong in the public eye.
