Brucey would have 30 indigenous boys in his SC side if it was possible. If I was a young indigenous footballer I would be very nervous in Bruce's company. Varcoe was ok but compared to his usual output he WAS terrific.

Pretty happy to win that one. North have given us trouble in recent seasons but we dictated this match. Geelongs inaccuracy and junk time goals by the Roos kept the margin to 20 points.

So on to yet another six day break and another interstate trip. Thanks a lot Vlad you ****. My favourite call by the commentary team was "its a massive advantage for Geelong to have seven games at home" get ******, no a massive advantage would be to play 12 there.
