I don't think he wants to be there. He allowed himself to get the chop last night with Moreland trying to save him.
To be fair to the guy, he struggled with a dip in the ocean let alone a 4km surf paddle. Maybe throw the guys in the outback without shoes and get them to do a half marathon or live off the land for 3 days and see how some of the city boys went. I know they had a meal in the bush but that was more bonding than challenge.
The bloke was hilarious and had real ability. Touted as a top 5 pick 3 years ago he surely should not have gone home. Also proved very selfless and showed admirable qualities and humility. I'd take him as an X factor on my team list ahead of all the rest.
pretty much this. waylan was what made me want to watch the show, seemed like a great lad. would be pretty hard for him to do all of this.
there does come a time where you have to say, is this guy going to hold up to the mental pressures of AFL, and im not sure you can say that about him. i really hope he does get back on the show, or into the afl system some other way.
fwiw i dont mind dicko. once again you guys find something to whinge about.

its a category B rookie contract. blokes who have never even seen afl before get those contracts, so to say this somehow is different is pretty silly.
my top 3 would be maxy, morlo, brady.
maxy and brady are elite athletes, so they can be taught. morlo (and wagner too) probably seem like the only pure footballers that want it enough and still might offer something at afl level. someone like semmell seems like a good footballer, but i doubt would ever be fit enough to make it at afl level
