Selwood is a must in that 3, an absolute must.

He was tagged out of it a lot, did come good in the last few rounds and had a decent start.

Wow, good on him, the lad's done exceptionally well. I'm surprised that Sheed finished ahead of Heeney. I can't find the voting.

10 judges who give 5,4,3,2,1 votes. Not sure of who all panel members are.
9 of the panel gave Hogan 5 and 1 gave him 4. I believe Kevin Sheahan was the one that gave him 4

I believe it is the all australian selection panel plus Kevin Sheehan. that only makes 9 though, so not sure who the 10th is

The current All-Australian selection panel is Gillon McLachlan (chairman), Kevin Bartlett, Luke Darcy, Mark Evans, Danny Frawley, Glen Jakovich, Cameron Ling and Mark Ricciuto.[3]

Reckon you are right, Wikipedia info obviously a bit dated, reckon roo was the selector before he joined the Adelaide board now that you mention it.

My side posted before the 40 man squad was announced:

B: E.Wood/A.Rance/H.Shaw
HB: R.Laird/M.Hurley/R.Murphy
C: A.Gaff/M.Priddis/D.Hannebery
HF: C. Wingard/T.Walker/R.Gray
FF: E.Betts/J.J.Kennedy/L.Breust

R: T. Goldstein/N.Fyfe/P.Dangerfield

I/C: N.Naitanui/J.P.Kennedy/S.Pendlebury/M.Boyd

Breust hasnt made the squad, so i'll replace him with Cyril.

Reckon you need stringer in there, but the rest is pretty good imo.

I would love to see Stringer make it, Benny. Something tells me the AFL fapfest with Cyril will flow through to the AA selection panel. They are evenly matched in stats, with Stringer kicking 54 goals in comparison to Rioli's 35.

Stringer rightfully gets that FP spot.

Just remember that AFL clubs BnF's are all voted on in a different way, so while the media might not see him as being outstanding in their reports the club / coaching staff might see it differently. I think he'd be one bloke who gets the "played his role" a lot, even though he might not star.

I'd have him in there, what does @Rik E Boy think, Selwood top 3 BnF mate?

Yes, I think so. Probably ahead of Boris. Selwood has struggled this year because he has had no support in midfield with Duncan, Caddy, Bartel, Kelly often injured, Stokes and Johnson winding down and Gregson, Lang and Cockatoo not yet ready to assume the responsibility. He hasn't had 'an average year' it's just he's had to do it all by himself. I think the club will recognise this and vote accordingly. Blicavs to take it out I think.
