I thought the idea had some merit. Practice and fitness in match conditions. Can't beat that. Isn't there a week off anyway before that first match? He's got to develop the team's collective tank.

I thought it was a good idea. Bolton will do well at Carlton, he’s not afraid to think outside the box and his experience working under Clarkson is hugely beneficial.

I wonder how long the "happy go lucky" persona will last with the media.

Sandilands suspension an absolute farce. Don't think I can bothered watching what this sport is turning in to

Filthy act, how dare he not let someone impede into his space to be the 3rd man up and use him as a step ladder.

No, that's why it's the NAB Challenge and no longer the NAB Cup.

No worries, I thought that was the case, quite a pointless exercise.

You could argue that having a cup for practice matches was pointless too :)

I do agree that they need to revamp it somewhat. Even if that means getting rid of it

The clubs all want 3 practice matches, 4 was too many, the 3 teams playing a mini-lightning carnival was rubbish and the "Cup" format went out with cigarette advertising.

I reakon the AFL should arrange a Qld, SA, WA, NSW derby, all the Vic sides play each other, you play one more and if you want a third the clubs just arrange it themselves as the ammo's do.

Yeah, there's no proper fix, that half-game three team crap was just garbage, they should just bring back the knockout thing and try to get clubs to field a decent side, they can organise trials after that if they bomb out.

Whats hilarious is the uproar it has caused... calm down people. The boys were having a laugh, you could see the smirk on Palmers face... fun and games. They got the exposure they were looking for no doubt.

Now NTTIAWWT... what is that?!? This abbreviation stuff has gotten out of control... a while sentence can get abbreviatted now?
