Did Tipett ever catch the ball though?

He was about 350 contested marks in the past 10 years. Cloke was 465

Yep, clubs asked for that last year. An internal trial followed by two preseason matches was the preferred method.

Will be an interesting Port / Adelaide game at Alberton.

Richmond caught the competition on the hop with a great system of play, rather than great players (top couple notwithstanding)

Usually those teams find it more difficult to stay up the top than teams that have genuine star power - Sydney definitely fall into that bracket, as do the crows and GWS.

Reiwoldt > Walker
Martin > Sloane
Rance > Talia
Cotchin > any crows midfielder

Prestia, Caddy, Grigg are equal to all of the Crows second tier

Only Crows player that has Richmond covered is Betts

Gold Coast have sold 4 home games this year due to the Commonwealth Games. Round 1 they will play North in Cairns, Round 3 they have sold to Freo and will play them in Perth. Round 8 they will play Melbourne at the Gabba and Round 9 is the China game.
