Yes. Funny how you said I was overreacting. Compared to my 2011 and 2009 rants I thought I was pretty resrained by comparision.

Was your current rant much more comparable to your rant in 2008?

If Geelong have earnt a home final it's only fair that it's played at Simonds.
What I don't like is double standards. You can bet that there'll only be a final held there if Geelong's opponent is an interstate club. If Fremantle have to play a final there then the same should apply to Collingwood, Hawthorn (insert any big Melbourne-based club). The criteria should be home ground advantage, not maximising revenue or stitching up an interstate club.

If its to maximise revenue and attendance it should be played in Perth.
I think Geelong should be playing at the MCG against Freo if it falls that way.
The lowest ranked team should be shunted off to Ethiad. But that won't happen cos the AFL won't want to upset Eddie so Skilled is the easy option

tell that to Andy
less people can get into Simmonds stadium = less revenue = less bonus for Andy

I would think 1 if not both games would be at Etihad.
If not Geelong v Sydney at MCG, Swans wont get sent to Simmonds

Would think with Hawks having more members than everyone but Collingwood that the johnny come lately's to finals footy should go to Ethiad

But Andy only worries about crowd numbers.
Hawks v Freo 45-50k absolute tops
Geelong v Swans 60-65k possibly more.
Swans have a decent following in Melbourne.
Will be an easy decision for Andy
