3 times. Wowee.

He can’t count past 3.
Why would he say that?
After all these years.
Yeah found that crazy when I read it, clearly Wayne isn't going well at the moment.

It's shallow but we also don't have many list spots available without delisting anymore.

I’m only guessing but I reckon that data would show from pick 50 onwards finding a 5 year player would be like finding diamonds

Almost be the devil you know and if you have players on your list that you’ve put time and energy into, they are of good character almost better of keeping them rather than delisting them and then being in pick 68 which is a lottery.

Die-hard Crows fans have been given the chance to get their hands on a piece of club history – for an eye-watering sum.

Dual-premiership Crow and now-Melbourne Demons coach Simon Goodwin has put his 1998 Grand Final guernsey up for sale though Melbourne-based memorabilia store Authentic Autographs and Events Australia.

Adelaide faithful will have to part with a cool $20,000 for the guernsey, which comes with a signed letter of authenticity and a meet-and-greet with Goodwin himself.

“The guernsey comes direct from (Goodwin),” Authentic Autographs owner David Sumiga said.

“If whoever buys it wants to come into the store – or fly over to Melbourne – Simon will come in and present the jumper to them.”

I did a meet and greet with Goodwin once at John Reid's place.
John Reid and Goodwin's Dad were much more interesting/fun to talk to.

Interesting bit in todays paper about trades for all the clubs in the last 10 years. Adelaide the only club to not sign a free agent in the last 10 years.

I hate the rookie list. What is it's purpose other than to exploit fringe players?

Their wage isn’t included in the main cap, he has concussion issues so it’s a way of keeping him on the list.

It’s basically just a way of list management.
Every club has to have 3 “live” spots available on draft night so you delist someone like Hamill and then with your third pick at number 97 you pass and then just put Hamill back on the list.

They still get paid their outstanding current contracts and no restrictions on games they can play.

Is the AFL the only ones who do not use the term 'rookie' for its intended purpose?

Rookie listing WIngard, Greenwood and even Hamill isn't what 'rookie' means.

Two of those with reasonable medical conditions so I don’t have too much issues with Hamill or Wingard

Probably needs to be changed to ‘Supplementary List’ and stop calling it the ‘Rookie List’
