Gold Coast was a tough one, it was always going to be hard to win without our 2 best forwards. Add in pouring rain when been training in the heat over summer. But the coaches got it all wrong, completely wrong structure and the blokes going to kick the goals playing too far away from them. It showed as well how lost we are going forward without Walker. Fogarty is not the replacement. Not panicking yet but definitely have to win the 2 home games and I think we can snag one of the away. Not sure about Fremantle and we play well at Marvel.

He must be so frustrating to watch. Has so many attributes, his lead up mark and kick game is one that could net 60+ goals but he so often just gets lost in the ball movement. The "when Walker goes" time is over for him I reckon and he needs to make it that Walker gets pushed out because he's taken ownership of the forward line.

Fogarty ain’t replacing Walker this year or ever.
He’s just not good enough.
And with question marks still around Tilthorpe they need to offer up coin elsewhere to chase a key forward.

Do you relate with Todd Marshall from your mob?
Looking at their career averages, near identical. And when you add in the delivery Todd would have received vs Fog over the years, Todd should be miles in front.

I'll preface this by saying I'm disappointed in Fogs career so far, and IMO I think he would have been better suited as a leaner half forward like his junior days.

Disagree. Marshall is a victim of dogshit forward strategy, with the "bomb it in long to Dixon and force a stoppage" basically being Ken's one wood for Todd's entire tenure at Port.

When we are allowed to move the ball with freedom from the midfield and back half (usually against the bottom sides that we beat up on) - Todd plays that lead up CHF role to perfection. Case in point, his game on Sunday - 15 disposals, 10 marks, 11 score involvements, 5 marks inside 50. Goalkicking aside, he was excellent.

When forced to play deep as that one on one contested marking option, he's about as effective as Jed McEntee in that role. When allowed to roam and lead up at the ball, he has excellent speed off the mark for a big bloke, sure hands and an excellent kick.

Fogarty's issue is (as a spectator coach) that he spends too much time worrying about the body. Some of it is probably delivery but he always seems to be engaged in a wrestle rather than trying to lead up.
Thilthorpe will come good. But you can see why Ugle-Hagan went #1 - yes it was a tactic by the Crows but I'm sure they would have been happy to get him had the Bulldogs not matched it.

At home games, Crows players to have their choice of song play after they kick a goal, much like Brisbane do at the Gabba.

Please put forward your nominations for what songs should be played for which players.
