My post was in jest.
Can’t believe they didn’t challenge it, didn’t look a lot in it. Must have been scared it would go to 3

Ken probably gave someone his phone to text Fagan his plan during the week, would be too dumb to perform the task himself.

PORT Adelaide chairman David Koch has whacked assistant coach Michael Voss, calling on him to not meet with other clubs until season's end.

Voss reportedly met with Carlton earlier this week regarding the Blues' senior coaching vacancy, and on Friday morning, Koch expressed his annoyance with the situation on Sunrise.

"People go for better jobs. That's great, but do it at the end of the season," Koch said.

"Focus on the job at hand. We're paying you at the moment. Do your job.

"Show your interest (in other jobs), but hey, get focused."

Should be standard procedure across the board IMO, I have nothing against Voss in discussions with other clubs as it is the norm.

I don't get it how in rugby you see blokes playing for a club when it's widely publicized that they wont be there the following season.

Actually with league players can even move teams during the season. Kodi Nikorima (Broncos) left after 7 games this year and signed a 2 & 1/2 yr contract with the Warriors.. played the Broncos a few games later.

Because the comp arent full of nuffies and everyone knows it's a professional career FFS.

Voss is obviously gone now.
Whether it’s to Carlton or not?

I thought the club came out said they supported him going for the role? Some cracks are opening up at Alberton

If Port made the GF then Voss wouldn’t be able to be interviewed until October. Decision needs to be made, maybe not announced, by then.

Well really any assistant coach that made the GF shouldn’t be interviewed until after the GF according to Koch.

Exactly, Koch is grasping at straws to show some leadership, surely he knows everyone applies for jobs when currently employed elsewhere.

Whether Voss should or shouldn’t wait isn’t really the issue here.
Kochie talking publicly about it is the issue.
Does that bloke know when to shut up!
