Essendon- Down around 10%

Collingwood-Fallen off a cliff by around 25%

Melbourne- Shithouse down around 30%

Carlton- Jesus Christ down just under 40%

All stats are home games since 2010.

St Kilda about 20% down on 2010 also.

I knew I forgot 1 club!!!!! They are pretty much down 30% since 2010. Their results are very alarming.

Collingwood were averaging the 3rd highest home crowds in AFL history prior to the Power game.
No 1 and 2 are also Collingwood.

Again Wedgie check the teams they played and check their fixture for the rest of the year. Be very lucky to average over 50k for the year.

Drop it mate, Wedgie looks for any excuse he can to sink the boot into Port Adelaide. Can't see the forest for the trees.

Check the teams they played in 2010 at home. No Power and no Gold Coast.
Comparing apples and oranges mate.
Collingwoods 2016 home crowds were amazing prior to the Power game considering the way they've been going the last couple of years.
I'd love my club to be "falling of a cliff" like Collingwood just like the other 16 clubs would too.

Nothing wrong with dropping the boot in to Port Adelaide ;)

I understand some points. But in business if your income has risen 25% in a key category at its peak and then within 5 years has dropped back to the base it started at (or below it) then around the boardroom there are knives flying and heads roll. Andy D found that out.

Ok so we'll give them 30k more. Still down 20%. Want to keep going? I love %, business and reasons mate.

They wouldn't be concerned at all, they wouldn't be stupid enough to compare a premiership year when they played better supported teams prior to the league expanding and crowds dropping across the board to this year. Even if they did it is better than expected.
They would have been stoked getting the third highest average home crowds of all time prior to the Power game. Things like the Powers lack of excitement factor is out of their hands.
I envy Collingwoods figures, they're to be commended. They're world class.

I'm basing this on growth Wedgie. It doesn't matter what size crowds they get. They still budget for this stuff at club and league level. On a scale it's all relevant.

I reckon some of Eddies comments recently show there are some very large concerns internally Wedgie. He's a very good operator and for him to come out and question himself in media situations shows he's rattled.

You're being selective and decided ignore the rest of the quote. Again it's based on growth figures which clearly means that each club has a different base.

I compared 2015 to 2016.
You compared 2010 to 2014.
I was being selective?
Silly boy.
I'm sure Eddy would be more worried if his club hadn't won a premiership this century than crowds averaging 57-61k.

Compared to the end of 2015 actually. I didn't do this year as it's not finished and there are games coming up that will bring those figures down by seasons end considerably. Their membership is starting to decline too considering AFL memberships are up on the same time as last year.

I wish you we're my boss, I'd sleep a lot better at night if my figures are shithouse.

You're not raising much debate here, rather just further clarification.

At the end of the day a club like Collingwood would have atleast 30,000 season ticket holders and the club already has their cash
