i can see why the umpire may have paid the Thompson free kick if he was on a certain angle, in slo-mo it looks a free kick but in normal speed its not so easy esp when the current theme seems to be holding and pushing.
The Westhoff one makes zero sense, the ball was millimetres from being in play
