I thought Wedgie was just trying to state his argument as to why he likes Ebert more than wines.

But could be wrong.

Ebert? Turn over king.

I rate Wines above him for effort and effectiveness.

Ebert doesn't look as sooky as wines and Ebert is just about the only Port Adelaide thing about Port Adelaide.

I know you're just trolling (although you'll tell us you're dead serious), but what is your point?

Monfries getting another contract at Port. Possible 1 year but not sure, no details at the moment. Just that Port have comitted to re-signing him for next season.

Oh look, you all do, but I understand.

We've scarred all of you at some point, you've been on the wrong end of some Port Adelaide magic and I expect that it takes time to get over things, I'm still working my way through 2007. And think about it, nobody hates South or Westies, no reason to, what have they ever done to you? Port on the other hand have been your masters at some time, be it individually or collectively. :D

Wasn't trolling but I'll ignore your uncalled for insult and won't lower myself equally. If you quote the simplest possible explanation of a point and then ask what it is then you've summed up your post beautifully in your last line.

Wedgie is right. Once Ebert goes the only thing Port Adelaide about the Power will be Alberton oval. You can 'one club' it all you like but you sold your soul and your existence to form an AFL entity that was referred to last night (admittedly during the Cricket with non-SA commentators) as 'South Australia's Second AFL team', I had visions of Booney wincing when the commentator said this.

In before 'the Redlegs are as rooted as the SANFL'. Can't argue there.

Other people may disagree but I think he still valuable to your forward line, these days you need the right balance of small, medium and tall forwards and he would have been suited to the conditions last weekend.

I'm hearing ya, we're next level though, we've achieved it in an Australia wide comp. You do have some nice records in the national comp like 119 and 27935.

Taking the bait equals agreeing with you now does it, I'll keep that in mind.
Might even start respecting your club when it replicates its small pond form against the big boys.
