Blockbuster
Melbourne v bombers

Dees by 15 goals unless Worsfold is sacked ( which is quite on the cards apparently )

Do we get 7 of our next 11 at Cat Park and matches against St Kilda Gold Coast and North right after? No wonder you comfortable with the no complaint option. A 6 day break at home to an interstate club who is getting 5? Turn it up.

Right your all a bunch of wankers. I'm clearly keen for bit of a troll and none of you guys guys are biting.

Bloody hell not even uk fan is in here for a troll.

Just for the record the AFL app has the crowd listed at 41k.

Injury to Curnow didn’t help either.

I think the Blues would have beaten a few teams yesterday with that effort.
There were promising signs for Carlton yesterday.

Certainly in the first 2 round the signs have been a lot better for Carlton than last year.
Walsh is absolute ripper, but I guess that was expected but still he's great to have in there with Murphy and Cripps.

McKay and McGovern up forward together looked alright. Not why thisnis the first time we are seeing McKay out there but still some good signs for Carlton.

The only issue is when Port were on top they were really on top but were poor going forward and couldn't adapt to the conditions. Better sides will kill you off with that much of the ball.

Yeah it’s a hard one to judge as I’m not sure how good either Richmond or port will be this year.
I think both will struggle to make the 8.

For once I’m looking forward to the games against Essendon, saints, GC, bulldogs, lions, even Melbourne and Sydney.

Carlton bring yesterday's level of intensity next week and they are a huge show against Sydney.

For the first time in his career, Weitering looked very much at home at CHB. Controlled the air, some of his intercept marks were terrific given the conditions.

I'm big wraps on Curnow, but Harry McKay has all the tools to rip the competition apart in a couple of years. Carlton have a gem there.

Hopefully this is Weitering’s year.
He looks much bigger and looks more interested more importantly.
McKay reminds me of Corey Mckernan at times.
Just the way he jumps into a contest and takes those big marks.

But we are normally the under dogs in those games.
We could go in favourites this time.

Carlton were gallant yesterday, just couldn't make Port pay for their mistakes and if Port were playing a much more polished team they would of been beaten due to some of their terrible decision making when going inside 50.

He’s done well to have 3 marks. Our movement going forward has been woeful.

You could see in his time there how much better Waite made the Roos - Do they have any key forward options outside of BB?
