Had a chuckle last night when they were discussing the Stevie J suspension, when the Chris Dawes suspension was raised. Rowey pipes up with "and who have Melbourne got next game? Port Adelaide- ha! What a surprise".

Yeah ill be the first to admit that we have been kissed on the d*ck this season as far as opponents missing players for whatever reason, but the aforementioned feigned admiration for port continues to be laughable when comments like that are risen. Hopefully Rowey has the same reaction if the crows are ever in the same predicament.

I heard the comments also, in fiarness to rowey he was laughing when he said it. I also think its impact depends on the angle you take the person who is saying it.

ATM ports are riding a good wave, success on the field, off the field and hell even with the other sides injuries/suspensions . Would the injuries/suspensions mean different results for the power this year? i dont think so, i think they are playing well enough to beat anyone! does it help? most definately.

Don’t get me wrong, I can see your side of things. He is very AFC centric and over top a lot/most/all of the time, but I listen to the show daily, mainly to hear to the people they have on. I think they have a reasonable mix of port and crows’ players/officials, interstate players and journos etc.

I am amazed that Kym Dillon has not been mentioned. Very opinionated and talks over people who have an alternate view. Very much a yesterdays man having never played anywhere near AFL level and easy to see how the modern game has passed him by. Rowe may come across as an idiot but I am sure he is playing a role and can admit when he is wrong.

Yep im with most of you, Rowe is diabolical. From a constant listener to the show its occasional for me now.
His diction & use of the language is terrible for someone on radio, the other night speaking to Mark Evans from the AFL on the racism matter, he said to him that Essendon have 'teared' the Essendons supporter membership up - goodness me.

I also find Brereton unbearable, his waffling commentry & he will always mention/brag about something he has done himself.
Dunstall is a shocker, how can he be on the couch show & then be the class clown 2 nights later, no time for him at all.
Frawleys commentry is cringeworthy, listening to the knowledge box, he must have never made a mistake himself when he played.

As a commentator/broadcaster, I reckon that means he hides his bias pretty well.

And as someone who is called out on my political bias all the time, for all the wrong reason, I can recognise that sort of thing.
