Still reckon the players have too much power in this scenario though.

Belinda is not smart enough to choose success over money, hence why he is telling Saints to trade pick 5 for him

Hawthorn or St Kilda I know where I'd be going

Jake has always said he wants us adequetly compensated. Still has a lot of mates at the club and wasnt happy with the Saints low balling us. His preferred destination is still the Saints but if a deal cant be done in the next few days he will head to the Hawks

McKernan will be upgraded. Giles has a year to run on his contract but have heard he was going to West Coast for a medical. Not sure why he would head there

Which would mean the Treloar deal is all but done.

Yep. GWS need points for their academy so are looking to offload pick 8 for some decent later picks. Would imagine they would chat to Adelaide and a couple of others also

Well played Essendon

Standard trade week posturing.

Carlisle still has to agreed to a trade to Hawthorn and he is currently overseas.

Apparently he is ok either way.

Unless they're working a deal that gets them a player and the club in question wants two picks?

No its for the new bidding system. They need points for the 2 academy kids.
Pick 23 & 25 is worth more points than pick 8. Its all about points for GWS not picks.

FFS Giles is apparently on our radar. We really are making some great decisions this trade week. Maybe as a backup he'd be ok but still.

Jim if we end up trading for him, we'll give you a half eaten hotdog with say 2/3 of a coke.

Apparantly swapping either Rosa or this Brant Colledge fella for him. Dont know much about him apart from he is a mid who gets a stack of it in the WAFL. Rosa is keen to go to the Crows with Pyke but Woosha loves him so that could be an option

Talk of Josh Walker and Jarrad Jansen being traded to the Lions for their future 3rd round pick. How is that a good deal for the Cats? I would have thought Walker is worth 2nd round pick and Jansen hasn’t played yet so that’s hard to judge. So at the least it should be 2 players for a 2nd round pick.

Looks like the Lions are going to try to stem the flow of blokes leaving by going after Josh Walker, David Ashby and Ryan Bastinatic
