So what would you expect for Doedee? Two first rounders?

Not at all. Traders post pretty much sums it up and makes sense

Why should there be free agency compensation?

Player is out of contract, fulfilled his obligations, original club doesnt need to be compensated

Players need to be able to be traded without their consent and scrap the whole academy/FS picks

Any system that encourages you to trade away high picks for lower picks to get make believe points is a joke

He wants to play VFL?

Keeping Ginnivan on his toes.

Schulz is twice the player Ginnivan is.

If you finish top 4 you can't take free agents.

Yesterday the AFL said there will always be some form of FA compensation.
They believe there would be too much movement from poor sides to good ones so unless you have a provision where a top 4 side can’t sign a FA or similar the AFL need to be able to manipulate it

That’s good of him to want to go help a struggling club out.

Surely it has got to a point now where yes you can return home but the club has the right to trade to any Victorian club.

Absolutely, I reckon you can return to your state but it must be open to all teams and highest bidder.

I mean you are still returning to your home to state. It's just the team losing the player gets fair compensation.

Done deal for Dylan Stephens.

Sydney get North’s future special assistance pick + pick 44 this year.

North get Dylan Stephens + pick 25.

Is that the future special assistance pick that was given with the caveat that it would be reviewed?!

Kinda hard to review it if you allow someone to trade it now.
