Not to leave the club. I bet the doors are locked and chains are involved at the moment because I think a few might be thinking how the hell can I get out.

From IN Daily:

Malthouse made the remarks while discussing Carlton’s playing list, which he described as “shallow”.

He said the list had been slashed by 50 per cent, and while he thought the Blues had some promising young players on deck he wished they had retained other more experiences stars including Betts.

“I’d still love to have a number of players here, Betts is the most classical one because he’s a goal kicker,” Malthouse said.

“But Steven Trigg assured us when he arrived here, ‘Don’t take it too personally’. He said, ‘We, being Adelaide, had him stitched up 18 months out’.

“So it’s very, very difficult when you come to the football club and a bloke like that plays cautious football because his heart and soul, or certainly his mind, was everywhere else.”

Mick goes out swinging. AFL to investigate these claims.

Buddy was "stitched up" before the 2013 season started. If players don't sign anything then I don think any rules have been broken.

Seems obvious to me that Mick just wanted to break the coaching record and has been sabotaging his position since. Doesn't give a stuff about Carlton, is all about himself.

I would have said the opposite. Driven by Mick himself.

I think the media have driven it fairly hard
Mick certainly hasn't done himself any favours with the media that he has been doing

Im not sure why Mick would make that stuff up regarding Trigg and Eddie Betts
surely Trigg would sue Mick for defamation.
however it wont go down that path, because everyone would believe Mick ahead of Trigg
