That would be the obvious.

I wonder if we might rejig the back line as we might be too tall for the Hawks forwards. There isn't really a clear match up for Otten or Kelly.

China Southern Airlines have signed on for a 3 year sponsorship deal as a major sponsor, just under Toyota.

That's a good get, pretty good airline with a huge market share in China

I thought Knight was impressive and gives the Cows some nice selection headaches. Looks a handy player. I have to grudgingly admit that the Blackbirds are better than I thought they were. Gingernuts doesn't post on this site anymore so it's safe to post that here. I still tell him the Blackbirds are crap. :D

Super impressed with Laird. The dude has a fair tank on him.

Good signs early but need to be consistent over the next few games to get a real picture. Clarko is a master so the Hawks could come out and blitz us!

Hawthorn are plodders through the middle. Adelaide will win, and win comfortably IMO.

I think Adelaide should be flag favorite, actually. One thing they have secured is a very, very good coach and that IMO will make up for any perceived shortfall in their midfield.

Bit early for that type of call based on 2½ quarters of good footy.

Of course it isn't, it's based on 21 good weeks from 2016 that was derailed by one bad quarter of footy against West Coast. I'm not basing my comments on last weekends game alone.

Fair enough.
For me, having home and away form (last year and this year) is much different to finals form. I still think we are a clearance mid and potentially a more mobile ruck away from contending in (major) finals when it gets tighter in close.

Knight will be very good for the Crows this year now that he has over come his injuries.....best runner at the club. Getting sick of Stephen Rowe calling him Knights though. It's your team mate, can you at least get their names right.

I think its quite amazing the transformation over the past couple of years. You would have said our midfield is decidedly slow in recent years, but that seems to have changed almost under our noses

We certainly moved the ball quicker than previous years in the GWS game but Cameron and Milera have added some good speed through there when they go through.

Crows are certainly a quick side these days, but without trying to be a downer, how much of their perceived speed on the weekend came from the fact GWS lost two rotations in the first half on a hot day?

i reckon its been gradually improving since Pyke has been coach. He immediately brought in Knight and Atkins at the expense of players like grigg who we all thought would be next in line.

And adding cameron and now milera has just added to that.
