Be careful commenting on a post that has nothing to do with you. It can trigger some on here

Scott was a regular on AFL360 and said how hard it is to be an AFL headcoach and wouldn't recommend it due to how many hours are required to be a senior coach and now he can find the time for a second job

The AFL argue that by revealing what decision it had made would mean every player, staff and coach with a commercial arrangement would need to have their club’s cap position publicly stated – a door it does not wish to open.
The league also denied it had launched an investigation into Scott’s deal, as per reports last year, instead saying it routinely reviewed the third-party arrangement like all other proposed commercial contracts across the competition.
The AFL said Scott’s Morris Finance job and the soft cap implications – if any – were a matter for Geelong.
It's not like the AFL to admit that is prepared to sweep shit under the rug. But it also says every player, staff and coach so if it's ok, then it's good club management and not something that only applies to Geelong. But to me it does mean that the more resourced clubs are in a position of advantage. While they are talking about Geelong in this article, image St Kilda trying to compete with Collingwood for commercial arrangements.
