2 wins and a draw where they were 50 points down in the third?

You only had to listen to Walsh in his press conferences and in media interviews to see why he was so well regarded. His ability to engage people was unreal. He did the real hard work in the first 6 months at the Adelaide FC as coach however I strongly still believe the best move the club did was appoint Fagan. The club has always improved under his watch.

Fagan, mate, he's great to listen too, mate, you know, as a CEO mate, he's great you know, mate. ;)

He's turned around the biggest under performing club in the land when you weigh up their resources in 3 years. On top of that he's done it in the most difficult circumstances and the club is as strong as any in the land on field with their best player pissing off. He can call me mate as often as he wants ;)

100% agree, and recall saying at the time of his appointment it was a good one.

Koch could learn a thing or two about how he conducts himself too.

Do you think Roo has had a fair bit to do with it as well? I do.

Why change the rules for a GF?

It's supposed to be the best game of the year, gives every opportunity if 1 side is disadvantaged by an early day ending injury.

While we are at it, let's have 36 each team and they can swap 18 players every quarter OR if someone in the opposition side gets hurt, the other side could lend them a player ala under 8's

Way to go Captain Exaggeration, not trying to reinvent the wheel here just an idea. Might revisit it on Sat night if a midfielder goes down with a knee in the first 5 minutes.

Pods went down in the 2nd quarter against Collingwood and they got three goals up, we still found a way to win. An even bigger obstical that day was Close was kicking straight!

I've taken Adelaide 60+, Adelaide 39+, Adelaide 24.5+ and will put another 10 on 90+ if the weather is ok, just so Richmond win.

Said it a few pages back I just can't see how Richmond can win.

To beat Adelaide they'll need to kick 100 points plus, to do this someone has to kick 5-6 the only one capable of doing this is Dusty but he must play mid. You can't rob Peter to pay Paul, Dusty must play 80% mid.

5 years ago I would've possibly brought in to the mental weakness of Adelaide but not anymore this is very much an 'UnAdelaide' side if that makes sense when the going gets tough they dig deep.

Going over both sides simply can't see Richmond have an advantage anywhere at all apart from the crowd.

Going to put more on Richmond/Richmond/Richmond/Adelaide tomorrow. Think Rioli at $15 for first goal.

Funny things happen in Grand Finals. Been a Tiger fan since I was 5. Actually watched their last flag at the G, yeah I'm old, lol. Love the Crows also and I can't see Richmond matching them in close and around the footy. Watched a lot of the Crows this year and IF they bring their best they are so much the best team in the comp. But as I said, they have to bring it and the big dance can see strange results.

Based on previous form maybe but it's a one off game now. Richmonds defence could have a good day out and their all round pressure could keep the Crows below 80. The Crows might not settle or ever get in the groove Just never know in the big one. Setup for a real Scrapper v Class contest, hope it delivers a good one.

Don't give a tinkers shit about the quality of the game as long as Richmond win. If Adelaide are up by a bit early I'll be heading out, would rather watch paint dry than the Cows win the GF.

Went Jacobs earlier in the week with Ladbrokes boost at $23. Adelaide win & he'll get a big sympathy boost.
Has a bit of a 97 feeling about this, Richmond under enormous expectation within Melbourne like the Aints back then.

Will there be any "Hi Port, wish you were here" signs in the crowd like 97
