He's due to play his 400th at The Gabba. I'm banking on the club "resting" him for a week so he will play it the following week at Etihad v Carlton. (I hope anyway as I've booked our flights & accomodation)
Plus, from a marketing point of view it makes sense to have his 400th in Melb.

Doing what he did and sucking the umpire in, is no different to what Steve Johnson did in sucking in Melksham and getting the free kick. Johnson got him first, Melksham got him second.

At least Harvey admitted what he did, and why he did it, and not try and put a different slant on things the day after like a Sydney footballer did last week.

Easy to admit it when there's 100% proof. I think there's a huge difference in the Stevie J thing, Stevie antagonised to get a reaction, Harvs' one was just plain rude and unsportsmanlike. I wouldn't compare the two anyway as Stevie is a tool and Harvey isn't.

I guess he was never going to get Christmas cards from West Coast supporters anyway from what happened in 2012 I think it was.

It's interesting to read the different perceptions, I don't necessarily think that I'm right, it's just my opinion.

To be honest I think its bit of an over reaction. Players have been staging for ages to gain advantage from the umps and this was no different. Just a player trying to get an advantage. Yes its not in the spirit of the game but christ when was a game played in true spirits?

In mu opinion and someone who dislikes Harvey a fair bit, its a case of mountain and molehills.

In the end North won and thats all you can take from the game.

Move on or not. I dont really care, we can all boo him next week if you want but I probably won't lose much sleep over it.

Well put, it doesn't affect my time in the house.

I wonder if they look at it and reverse free kicks in the future for others attempting it, it does open up a can of worms.

If Lindsay Thomas could kick straight it would of cost them the match sealer. If you were a WCE supporter you would think different.

Why would Stevie J antagonise to get a reaction? To get a free kick.

Harvey already had the free kick, he was just being greedy after that.
